The Marriage Law.
* (pee pkess association) Wanganui, May 31. At a meeting of the Women's Political League, the following resolution was passed : — " That the marriage law of the colony be recast or readjusted on the principle of complete equality and the economic independence of men and women," ajid another resolution to alter the law of diyorce so as to put husband and wife upon precisely the same footing as to the dissolution of the marriage tie.
