The Premier's Birthday.

(Per Press Association). Wellington. This Day. A well-attended meeting was held last night to consider the question of making a presentation to Mr Seddon on the occasion of his 50th birthday on the 22nd June next. The proposal was taken up ■with great heartiness. A draft address was submitted and approved, and it was decided to have it engrossed in the same form as that presented to Sir George Grey on his 80th birthday. The signatures which will be obtained to the address will bound in album form, the covers of whicli it is proposed shall be made of New Zealand woods, and it is probable the presentation will be made at a public meeting called tor the occasion. _™____—
