Frozen Meat Trade with France.
(Per Press Association). Sydney, This Day. A report by the British Consul at Caen (France) states the high price of meat is causing a great deal of complaint from people of small means, and adds that New Zealand frozen mutton could easily compete after paying dutj' with the local meat, but a clause in the Act making it obligatory to import only carcases with viscera adhering, effectually shuts the door.
