The steamer Khio collided m the Channel with the steamer Duke of Buckingham from Queensland to London- The latter vessel received damage to the iasulatjng chamber, but the captain does not think her meat cargo has been injured. The terms of the Convention which has been set up with regard to the seizure of the barque Costa Eica, provide that Great Britain and Holland shall invite in a third power to nominate juries to consult and arbitrate as to the amount of damages to be paid to the captain, officers, crew and owners of the vessel consequent on the detention of the captain.
