Hon. Mr Ward's Return.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, May 28. At a meeting of citizens held this afternoon, ft was decided to give the Hon. Mr Ward a public reception on his return to Wellington. A strong committee was formed, with power to add to the number to ensure the complete success of the affair. It is expected that when the country members are enrolled, the Committee will number not less than two hundred. The Hon. Mr Ward leaves London on Saturday next, and will return to the Colony by way of Canada, arriving here about July 7th. There is a possibility of Sir George Grey accompanying Mr and Mrs Ward back to the Colony.
