" ltud winter"' has touched as high as Kls, but relapsed owing to the prices realised in the Euglisli market. The market, however, continues very active, as it is the general impression that the European crop is below the average. During the excitement prevailing on the wheat market, one American speculator bought and sold 200,000,000 bushels of wheat. Eight thousand bushels of South Australian wheat, April and May shipment, lias been sold at 27s Cd. Duxkdin'. This Day. The activity in the wheat market continues. An Adelaide cable announces a further rise, equal to 2s lOd, f.o.b. Wheat sold this morning from os lOd ■is lid.
