Fatal Accidents.
(Per Press Association.) Haweba, May 26. A young man named Grey Frazer was accidently shoot by a Maori near Waitara while shooting bares on Saturday. Christchubch, May 25. C. W. Potter, stationm aster at Preb* bleton, while engaged shunting this morning caught his foot in the points, and being unable to extricate it was run over by a waggon, the wheels of which passed over his leg, smashing his thigh to a jelly, and injuring him internally. He was brought down to the Christchurch Hospital, but succumed to the injuries sustained. He was a married man. Duxedin, May 25. McLeod, a shepherd, emploj'ed by Boyd Bros., sheep farmers at Taicri, was killed through a buggy accident at Lorell's Flat. Invercakgill, May 25. Miss May Smith, head-mistress of the Middle School, and daughter of the lato Mr J. G. Smith, secretary of the Education Board, was found drowned in the Waihopai stream to-day.
