A practice will be held on the Oval on Saturday next, when as many players as possible are requested to attend. Au association football game will be played ou the Oval on Friday afternoon (Queen's Birthday), commencing afc 2.30. Any players interested in the game are requested to attend. With reference to a letter from Mr Kelleher (and the Editorial footnote), appearing in this morning's Palmerston Standard denying that he seconded a motion at the last meeting of the Feilding Football Club asking the Manawatu Rugby Union that Mr Weeks should not be appointed referee in any match in which Feilding teams were interested, we may state our report of the proceedings at the meeting in question agrees with the minutes taken by the Secretary and entered in the Club's minute book.
