(tke press association) Sydney, May 21. The Postmaster-General has received a cablegram from the Vancouver agents of Canadian Mail steamers, asking if he will allow the Warrimoo to call at Auckland on her return trip to land the Hon. G. Ward. This is believed to be the thin edge of the wedge to getting a Canadian line of steamers to call regularly at New Zealand.
