THE MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS POLL.
TO THK KUITOR OK THK STAH. Sjr, — I do like accuracy, especially in figures, but I think it would puzzle even a Philadelphia lawyer to reconcile the following : — Voters Votes In j'onr issue of May 4th, the Mayor is reported to have said there were on the roll ... 340 - 461 In your issue of May 16th, the figures are ... 368 ■- 472 22 11 This gives 22 more voters with 11 votes — just one half vote each. Again, the report says there were 13 voters with 13 votes who voted against the loan. Seeing that I polled five votes myself against it, and I know of three voters who polled four, three, and two votes respectively, this does not quite work out, and if any of the absentees, non-voters, or the other twelve have more than one vote, it might have the effect of reducing the number of votes — if not of voters, verb sap. I am, &c, E. Giesen.
