The Passion Play.

In the Feilding Assembly Rooms on Monday night, the 13sh instant that most marvellous of all modern dramas, " The Passion Play of Ober-Arnrnergau," will be the subject of an exhibition on a very complete scale by Mr Walter Bentley, whose elocutionary powers are well known to all. Mr Bentiey's oration upon the above wonderful, production has been acknowledged by the Press and public throughout the South Island to be of a most masterly character. The illustrations which form such a prominent part of the exhibition have been procured at considerable cost, and are indeed works of art, being from photographs taken on the spor, aud are beautifully coloured. Large and delighted audiences have everywhere availed themselves of the opportunity af- ' forded them of becoming acquainted with \ a subject which should be of deep interest < to all.
