The Half-Holiday Trouble.

(PKE PEKBS ASSOCIATIONS Auckland, May 2. This morning a meeting of the Committee of those who have been working for the Wednesday half-holiday was held. It was agreed that in spite of the amended gazette notice those present would go on as before and fight the matter out. The Committee further agreed to call a meeting of tradesmen of Queen street, Karangahape road, and the whole of the suburbs, with the view to working for Wednesday to be observed as the holiday. The Wednesday people state they are determined not to give way.
