West Australian Loan Successfully Floated.
N.Z. LOAN QUOTED AT U PREMIUMS. (per press association. 1 London, May 2. Tenders for the West Australian 3J per cent loan of three quarters of a million, with the minimum at 99, were opened to-day. There was heavy tendering, and the amount subscribed was £2,860,000. One syndicate tendered for a million and a half at .£ll2 19s 6d, and were allotted 20 per cent. Another sj'ndicate tendered for £125,000 at £108 0s 6d. The loan averages £103. The New Zealand loan is quoted from 4 to 4i per cent premium.
