Stock Market.
Gorton and Son's stock report : — We regret to say we cannot report any improvement at our two recent sales at Feilding and Marton. We had good entries a both sales. At Feilding we sold most of the stock but prices were low. At Marton we had the old story repeated over again of numbers, twice the quantity of stock coming forward to what was advertised, and we had to resort to Mr Becket's courtesy again to use his yards as well as our own. Had we known what was coming accommodation would have been provided at our own yards, Our Marton sale was one of the dullest we have held for a long I'time.1 ' time. We only sold five pens of sheep and about twenty head ot cattle.
