The Christchurch Unemployed.
o [Per Press Association.! Christ church, April 27. About 200 men out of work interviewed Mr Reeves, who promised to find employment under the altarnative system on East Road, about 33 miles from Stratford but they refused to assist those who expected to get work in Canterbury. He complained the men had refused to work at the Ngaire swamp or go to the State farm. A few of the men gave in their names as willing to go to the work offered.
