(Per Press Association). Timaru, April 27. The Workers' Union Conference passed a resolution approving of Mr Reeves' scheme in settling tbe unemployed, condemning the shearing agreement used in some sheds as one-sided, affirming that domestic servants be brought under the Factories Act, that the nomination principle be abolished in connection with local bodies, and that women should receive equal pay with men for equal work. The expenses of the delegates, £37 15s 6d, was passed, and the Conference closed.
