Fatal Boating Accident.
LATER PARTICULARS. (Per Press Association). Invercargill, April 27. Three miners— Alex. Sutherland, Peter Cameron, and Jas. Comarby — were duowned at the Coal Island goldfielus yesterday. They were crossing from the island to the Puyseguer lighthouse for the mails when the boat capsized about eighty yaids from the shore, but the kelp growing from tbe rocks and the heavy surt rendered swimming difficult. A fourth occupant managed to reach the shore after being in the water over halt an hour, and making desperate efforts to save Cameron.
