Mysterious Death.
(Per Press Association). Hawera, This Day. A married woman named Mary Maxwell, living at Okaiawa apart from her husband died suddenly on Wednesday night at Hawera. Suspicions were entertained At the inquest held on Saturday the madical evidence contradicted the statements mado by the deceased before lier death and doctors stated tb.nt thoy hai concluded ergot of rye had been taken to procure abortion. The in quest was adjourned until the analysis of part oi the contents ofthe stomach has been mane.
