Great Success of the Queensland Loan.
v [per press association], London, April 25. Tenders for the Queensland 3£-per cent, loan of a million and a quarter, for which the minimum is fixed at 97£, were opened to-day. The amount tendered was £6,533,600, at an average of £101 12s 6d, and tenderers at that price allotted 28 per cent. One syndicate offered nearly four millions at that price.
