School Committee Elections. COLYTON.

The annual meeting of householders was held in the schoolhouse on Monday, Mr Shortall in the chair. Mr Pleasants proposed and Mr E. Smith seconded, That the balance-sheet as read be adopted. Only four nominations were received for the Committee, and these were declared duly elected, as follows :— Messrs Thomas bhortall, Patrick Lynch, Edward Smith, Owen Pleasauts (Chairman for the year). The remainder are to be appointed by the Board, according to the Act. [The above report of the meeting of householders at Colyton, to elect a School Committee for the ensuing year, only came to hand thia morning.]
