The Premier has requested the Press Association to add the following to tho message sent from Napier yesterday respecting th© Bank of New Zealand shaves : — " The number of shares held and sold by Mrs Seddon was twenty of the value of eighty-three pounds, and they were sold as far back as the early pare of September 1893." The Post and Telegraph Society Con feronce closed Co-day. Atnongsn matters dealt with was the retention of the head quarters in Dunedin, relegation of the powers of the Conference of electing Executive to branch at which head quarters is sitaated, and amending ruleß in that direction. Timaru, April 19. I Mr Hall- Jones addressed his constituents to-night, and received st vote of thanks and confidence.
