Post and Telegraph Conference.
(Per Press Association). "Wellington, April 18. The Post and Telegraph Society's Conference discussed various matters this afternoon with a view of ameliorating the conditions of the officers. The Conference opposed any steps being taken towards amalgamating the Society and the Katipo newspaper. The association death benefit acheme was thrown out. The association aid account scheme was considered to be on an unfinanciat basis as at present drawn up and was referred back to the executive. The conference will probably close to-
