■♦ ' Men are wanted to dig potatoes by Mr F. Spencer, Cheltenham. Tenders are invited for 40 chains of fencing. Apply Star office. A parcel addressed to Mrs Burnell, Feilding, has been left at this office. The estimates of the Borougn of Feilding for the year ending March 31st, 1896 will appear to-morrow. In our wanted column Messrs Spence and Spence have a special advertisement in reference to a job purchase of men's and boy's overcoats at immense reductionsi John Cobbk has imported, by recent steamers, 178 pairs of white and coloured Blankets, also large numbers of Bugs. He has received during this week a big assortment of Kaiapoi Blankets, direct from the Mills. An eminent Professor writes : — I very, strongly recommend Dawson's Perfection Whisky to invalids on account of its possessing stimulating and hygienicgiving properties. Purchase by the bottle and so secure the genuine article. — Advt Now that the winter is approaching parents would do well to call at the New Zealand Clothing Factory, and inspect their stock of heavy boots for boys' and girls' wear.
