A special meeting- of the Feilding Borouyh Council wai held last evening to adopt the estimates for the current financial your. Present — The Mayor (Mr W. A. Sandilands), J. Gould, W. G. Fowles, A. It. Allan, E. Goodbehere, G. Sajwe'l, W. A. L. Bailey. Proposed by Cr. Sandilands, seconded by Cr." Gould, Thnt the estimates as read be adopted and that notice oe given that it is the intention of the Feilding* Borough Council at a meeting; to be held on the 3rd day of May next to make a general rate of Is 3d and a library rate of Id in the £ on 'he rateable property within the Borough of Feild. ug lur the financial year ending- 31st March, 1896 ; such rate to be payable in one sum on the 31st day <>f May next.
