The Boot Strike Settled.
IPEB FBKSS ASSOCIATION. J London, April 7. The Strike Conference asked the Board of Trade to appoint a trnstee to hold money as a guarantee pending the execution of the awards. Subsequently both ■ides agreed to withdraw the old demands, the employers accepting the principle of machinery piece-work, 0 while the strikers will not insist on higher wages for clickers, oni agree to place no restriction on country workman.
