The Reciprocity Treaty.
(Per Press Association.) Melbourne, April 8. The Argus says there is a good deal of empty presence of federal spirit displayed in the letters which have passed between Messrs Turner and Kingston over the New Zealand reciprocity treaty. It is federation made farcical. The positions of both are indefensible, and their discussion is not statesmanship, but petty schoolboy warfare The KingstonWard agreement is. the Argas says' boy cot ting or exclusive dealing of an, offen« give and irritatine kind, and a gross interference with friendly and fraternal trade.
