Messrs Lowes and lorns report : — At our fortnightly sale, held yesterday the yards were well filled with all classes of stock. Fat wethers, 83 ; forward do. 7a to 7s 6d ; 4-tooth stores, 7s ; 2 tooth do, 5s to 6s ; mixed ewes and wetbera, 6s : culls, 3s to 5s 6d ; good breeding ewes, 3s 6d to 4s 9d ; lambs, Is to 4s. About 10,000 sold. Cattle, 2£-yr beef steer's, L 5 5s ; fat cows, L4 to L 4 4s; store bullocks L44a ; dairy cows, L5 ; calves, 15s to i 24s ; cows in calf 80s. Pigs, well-bred weaners, 12s ; slips, 13s to 15s. Horses, unbroken draughts, Ll6 ; a pair do, L 32 ; farm horses, Ll2. Lincoln rams, 20s to 22s ; Romney do, Ito H.-£iiineas. We effected private sales daring the week of 2500 good wethers at satisfactory prices. Mr R. E. Beckett reports : -There was a marked improvement in prices of both sheep and cattle at my Hunterville yards yesterday. The entries were large and the bidding quite brisk. Mr Dalziell's weaners made 34s 6d. Cattle— Forward steers, L4 3s to L 4 lls ; 2-yr Bteers, L 2 17s ; 12 to 18 mouth steers, L2 to L 26^ 3d ; 12 to 18-month heifers, L2 to L 2 16s ; weaners, LI 4s to LI 3s 6d. Sheep — 2 and 4 tooth wethers, 6s 6d to 7s 3d ; inferior do, 53 to os lOd ; fat 6W6P, 5s to 5s 7d : shorn iambs, 3s Id to 4s,
