THE PEACE PROPOSALS. AN ENORMOUS WAR INDEMNITY JAPAN DEMANDS £150,000,000. (Per Press Association.) Shanghai, April 2. Thousands of Chinese are arriving at Ninkin to take part in the defence of the southern ports of the Yftng'tse-Kiangi Yokohama, April 2. The Japanese Government demands an indemnity of seven hundrad million yens (4/2 1 and the occupation of Pekin pending its payment.
