Prince Bismarck's Birthday.

(Per Press Association). Berlin April 2. Five thousand students marched to Freidrichsruhe to congratulate Prince Bismarck on the anniversary of his birthday. The Prince, in replying, referred to the value of peace, aod declared that when Cnancellor he had yielded on the Caroline and Samoan questions, despite their great value in tho matter of Colonial expansion in order to avoid war. He alluded to the receipt of presents and telegrams from German residents in Australia, and also to the enthusiastic celebration of his birthday in London and America.
