The Armenian Atrocities,
« (Per Press Association). London, March 30. The Earl of Kimberley, replying to questions regarding the Armenian atrocities, said that extreme caution was necessary in dealing with the question, in order to avoid raising any serious trouble in the East. The efforts of Sir Philip H. Currie, British Ambassador in Constantinople, in bringing the matter before the Sultan were beyond praise. While the Government, he added, did not desire secrecy, the revealing of consular reports might tend to the embarrassment of the Government.
