(Per Press Association.) Wellington, March 30. The Tokomaru, from Wellington arrived at London on tbe afternoon of the 28th inst , with her meat in good condition. The Directors of tbe New Zealand Times have reconsidered their determination to resign, and decided to refuse. Tbe Hon. J. Mackenzie a gave motion that the paper go into liquidation, which was to have been withdrawn had the directors resigned. Tbis will now 'come on. It is understood tbat two offers of LSOOO each bave been made for the paper. CnRisTCHURCH, March 31 . Thomas McGarva, for a number of years foreman of ways and works on the Canterbury section of railways, subsequently in Otago, was found drowned in tbe Avon to day. It is said since his retirement upon compensation he has been rather despondent. Auckland, This Day. All the coins, etc, stolen from the Museum have been recovered— some in tbe cemetery, and others in a house at Newmarket. Dunedin, March 31. Charles Gamble, a bankrupt wbo had served six months for failure to keep books, bad his order of discbarge suspended for two -years by Judge Williams.
