Last quarter showed a decrease of L 128,000 compared with the previous quarter. Tne Lindisfarne which lelfc Geelong for London on Tuesday, sprang a leak, and returned in a waterlogged condition. The boats were provisioned in case of emergency. Great difficulty was experienced in making tbe port, the ship having a strong list. The damage to the cargo which is being discharged is expected to be serious. Brisbane, This Day. Thirty-five cows and thirty tons of hay were burned in a fire at Pront's dairy. The Belmont Railway Commissioners decide to carry wheat and maize for export at half the usual rates.
