Mr C. Carr reports :—I held a very successful sale at Rangiwahia on Wed. nesday, 27th. About twice as much stock came forward than was advertised, and I succeeded in quitting nearly every line at recent values.* Quotations.--' 18-months cattle, 33/- ; *wwners, 22/6 to 26/-; empty cows, 51/. Sieep: Fat wethers, 8/- ; store do, 4/4 tb 7/3 ; lambs. lOd to 2/6 ; 2-tooth ewes, 5/- to 6/3 ; * and 6-tooth ewes, 4/8 ; f ull-mouth ewes fc 4/6; fat ewes, 5/6; cull ewes. 1/5 fco 2/6. Matthew Henry reports oi his Palmerston sale : A limitedfiupply of both sheep aud cattle cawe forward, and attendance wa»siwall.
