In regard to the proposal to transfer section 20, Block IV, Pohangina Small Farm Association, to Ea°*ar and Lloyd, it was decided to accept a surrender as the Board would not assent to the transfer. The payments of amounts for improvements with which sections recently sold in Wen Waitapu and Mangaramarama Village Settlements were weighted, was authorised. It was decided not to enforce the royalty on ?ap timber from section 84, Block VII., Mangahao, used for the Mangahao bridge. W. H. Hargreaves was granted his title for section 33, Block XV., Apiti, on single improvements, exemption being granted far the first IS months of the lease* It was decided to a?k the ranger to report on section 9, Block XIV., and la, Block XI, Mackenzie special settlement, owned by G. J. Schofield and L. Farrelly, The valuations of the Marton and Rising Sun Special Settlements were referred back to the valuer. A number ot applications for land were approved. Deferrea thirds for the following local bodies were passed for payment : — Rangitikei County Council, Wail totara and Pahiatua County Councils, Motora, Upper Taunt and Uppe* '■ Wangaehu Hoard Boards. The Board then adtourned.
