The War Between China and Japan.
[Per Press Association.] Tokio, March 25. Li Hung Chang's cheekbone was fractured by the bullet, which is embedded below the left eye. He exhibits much fortitude, and after the attack was made declared that no public man was exempt from a similar calamity. Kayana is believed to be a lunatic. The Japanese Government has refused to agree to an armistice until the negotiations for the declaration of peace are further advanced. Shanghai, March 26. i China has notified that she will block the Peiho, if the Japanese warships appear at the mouth of the river. The Japanese have captured all ports in the Pescadores.
