Feilding Bowling Club.

■«. _ A meeting of members of the Feilding Bowling Club was held in Mr E. Giesen's office last evening. Present — Messrs P. Thomson, C. Bray (senr.), F. Y. Lethbridge, G. Saywell, C. Bray (junr.), A. R. Curtis, W. A. Sandilands, H. W. Davy, E, J. Allen, 3. , McLaren, W. Light, A. R. Allan, H. \ Bastings. Mr Sandilands was voted to the chair. The Secretary reported that he had written as instructed to the majority of gentlemen who had given in their names as subscribers, asking them to pay their subscriptions by that meet? ing, in response to which request twelve out of the sixty members had paid. The question of vesting the property i in trustees was discussed, and Mr Sandilands offered to prepare the deed of trust free of charge. Resolved, That Mr Sandilands' offer be accepted with thanks, the deed to be submitted to the committee for approval. Proposed by Mr Bray (junr.), seconded by Mr Curtis, That Messrs Sandilands, E. J. Allen, and C. Bray (senr.) be a finance committee to discuss ways and means and report at a meeting to be held on Monday next, at 8 p.m., in the same office.— Carried. Resolved, That Mr Light's name be added to the ground committee. Resolved, That Messrs Sandilands, Bray (senr.), and the secretary be a committee to collect the subscriptions promised. The meeting then adjourned.
