Severe Accident at Vinegar Hill

Huntervil^e, March 20, Whilst drawing a charge of blasting powder at the Vinegar Hill contract, Thomas Quinlivan, contractor, and Tbos. Donovan met with a seyore accident, the blast going off. It appears that the injured men were dumping stone out of a charge hole, when the powder ignited. Donovan was terribly mutilated about the abdomen, face, and arms, both eyes being closed. Quinlivan was badly hurt about the face and arms, and his eyes were also injured. The injured men were brought to Hunterville, Dr Smith attending them at Mr Sullivan's hotel. Latest reports as to their condition are favorable. — Mercury.
