SANDON RACES.
On Monday the annual race meeting of tbe Sandon Racing Club takes place. The acceptances are unusually large, and in the event of fine weather, the sport will be decidedly interesting and enjoyable. The following are •* Sports " fancies for the different events : — Flying Stakes— Flying Shot 1, Seabreeze 2, Ounboat 3. Handicap Hurdles — Spreydon 1, Pamoana 2, Strike 3. Sandon Handicap— Flying Shot 1, Lorelei 2, The Artist 3. Tramway Handicap— Gold Cup 1, Pihanga 2, Finesse 3. Electric Handicap— Maram a 1, Ngaturi 2, Umslopogaas 3.
