A Rough Passage.

Per Press Association.) DunuD-N, March 18. The Annosania (Captain Ross), bound from Java to Conception. Bay, Chili, was towed into port last night in a disabled condition. She has 2000 tons of sugar on board. She experienced a succession of fearful gales in which she lost nearly all her sails. One tremendous sea smashed the starboard boat to pieces, and burst a hole through the deck on top of the cargo, by which a large quantity of water got into the sugar. It also did a great amount of other damage, and, by washing away one of the hatches, caused a large quantity of water to enter the hold through the lazarette. The hands had to keep to the pumps, there being over three feet of water in the hold, and, under the circumstances, the captain decided to make for Otago Heads. .
