— _♦ | From Our Own Correspondent] Messrs Abraham and Williams held ; their second sale here on I'uesdav last, and it was fairly successful. 'I he attendance was good. The pens were well filled with sheep. Sales were slow under the hammer but the bulk . was quitted afterwards. The cattle entries were, few and bidding dvi 1 , the result being that settlers had to take most of them away again. 'Hie long: projected public hall will shortly come into existence, as the ; committee have been able to make the necessary arrangements for building;, which is to be commenced at once. Miould any of your readers be desirous of contributing towards the building fund, the Treasurer, Mr. Welsh, will be glad to receive any i donation. Look out- for the notice of the opening 1 concert and dance. The attendance at the school here is rapidly increasing, the new 1 school, when finished, will be a fine 1 looking 1 building, Our teacher now 1 resides in the township.
