j • F. R. Jackson and Co.'s Johnsouville report:— We had our usual supply of cattle yarded. The quality all round was fair to medium. Prices slightly better than those of last sale. Sheep in plentiful supply with no improvement in value. The pig pens were full, and prices obtained were, on the whole, good. Oafcfele— Best bullocks, £& 16s to £7 r others, £6 2s 6d to £6 12s 6d, equal to 17s per 1001 b. Sheep— Wethers, 9s to 9s 8d ; ewes, 6s to 9s Id ; store wethers, 6s 9d to 7s Id ; old ewes, Is 6d to 2s 3d ; lambs, 6s 9d ; store lambs, 2s lid to 4s. Pigs— Small baconers, 275 ; goodsized porkers, 19s to 21s ; others, 15s to 18s ; small pigs, 6s to 6s 3d.
