A match was played at Feilding yesterday between teams representing Xi witea and Feilding, resulting in a win for the former by an innings and five runs after an uninteresting game. In the first innings Feilding sent five men to the wickets, and after the Kiwitea team, with one man short, had batted, they put J on stragglers, who arrived during their progress of the game, to complete the first innings.
