' (PKB PRESS ASSOCIATION) > Auckland, March 12. \ Thomas Fisher, farmer, of Fairburn, t has been adjudged bankrupt upon the i petition of Miss Wrigley in connection ■ with the libel action in which she was i plaintiff and the bankrupt defendant, • which was known as the Fairburn school case. His liabilities are .£305, and assets r £2. At a meeting of the bankrupt's ■ creditors Mr John Luwson, Official Asi signee, read a statement of liabilities and assets as rendered by the bankrupt. It 1 was resolved, " That the bankrupt be rei quired io fnrnish to the Official Assignee l a balance-sheet and statement of his receipts and expenditure since January Ist, 1 1893 " It was also resolved, " That upon • the requisite funds being furnished, the t Official Assignee summon the bankrupt, > his wife, and any other persons he may } think fit, for examination in reference to - the bankrupt's dealings, and particularly > as to the alleged transfer of the bankrupt's 1 property to his wife in March last."
