A meeting of selectors at Queanbeyean decided to petition Parliament to suspend the payment of interest for their selections for one year, and for the reduction of future payments to 6d per acre annually to spread over 64 years. The meeting advocated assistance to the chilled meat and the live cattle trade, th© lowering of raiU way rates, and the establishment of the Credit Foncier
