Presentation to the Premier.

(188 PRESS ASSOCIATION). HopTiKA, This Day. A public presentation to the Hon. Mr Seddou, from bis constituents, was made yesterday. Mr Seddou, Mrs Seddon, and party arrived by the train at mid-day, and were received by the Mayor and Borough Councillors and school ohildren. In the evening the presentation took place, in the theatre. The building was packed, and the Mayor occupied the chair. Mr Seddon's speech was almost entirely of a personal nature. He referred to his early public career in Westland and afterwards in Wellington, and paid tributes to his old colleagues. At the conclusion of his speech cheers were given for Mr Seddoa and; family.
