SCHOOL EXCURSIONS.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE STAR. Sir, — As a misapprehension has arisen in the mintls of some of the parents as to the length of time the children will have at the Wanganui Heads next Friday, I may state if we take the ordinary train we shall arive about noon, and leave about four, which will give the children four hours on the sea beach. If sufficient inducements are offered it is probable a special trainwill be put on, which will give us another hour. I am, etc., William Carthew. Chairman Feilding School Committee.
