Speech by Prince Bismarck.
(Per Press Association.) Berlin, March 2. Prince Bismarck, addressing a meeting of notables at Leipsic, said that combatting the Social Democracy as a means of suppression of acute disease was simply parleying with the revolutionary party. It was similar to sending a lawyer to negotiate with France in the event of a declaration of war. His own life had been spent in continuous fighting to re tain the success once achieved, and he had never enjoyed 24 hours of uninterrupted happiness.
