-o — I The return match, Feilding v. Palrnerston, was plaj'ed on Saturday on the local courts. The weather was very threatening in the morning, but, notwithstanding this, the Palmerston team came over, and brought with them a number of onlookers. However the afternoon was fine, and the courts were in good order, considering rain fell ! heavily during Friday night. Palmers- . ton were again victorious, having a better i team in this match than they had in [ the first. The scores, as shown below, l speak for themselves. A very enjoyable afternoon was spent. Mrs Allen, assisted by other ladies of the Club, provided . afternoon tea, and it was principally due ' to the efforts of these ladies that the ', afternoon was made so pleasant, both i for visitors and members of the Club.
