The following team, being a slight alteration from that already published, will represent the Palmerston Club in their match against Feilding, on the latter club's court, on Saturday next: — Ladies— Mrs L. A. Abraham and Mrs W. Harrison ; gentlemen — Messrs Brandon, Koch, Crump, Keeling, Cox, and Webster. The match will commence at 2 p.m. The following tournament games have been played at the local tennis court : — Ladies' Championship — Miss Wilks beat Mrs Hill, 6-4 and 6-1. Gent's Championship — Mr Coote beat Mr Richmond, 6-2 and 6-4. Gent's Handicaps — Mr W. Halcombe (receive 80) beat Mr Dyer (owe 40) after a well-contested game, 8-6, 6-8, and 6-4. In the gentlemen's handicap singles there is only one more game — namely, between Messrs W. Halcombe (receive 30) and Brabant (owe 15). The return match between the Te Kakau and Waitohi players was concluded on Wednesday last at Mr Davis' homestead, near Carnpbelltown, and was won by the former by 36 points. The first match, played at Waitohi (Mr Hammond's homestead) on February 7th, resulted in a win for the Waitohi players by 7 points, and the return mutch was commenced on the 20th inst., at Te Rakan. The scores in the return match were— Te Rakau, 272 ; and Waitohi 236 out of a possible 280.
