(PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION*. Invercarou.li, February 27. At the Tariff Commission two coachbuilders asked that carriage lamps and naves and spokes be admitted free there ! being no timber suitable for the latter iv the colony. Two makers of sheep dips aeked that duty should be placed on the imported articles ; also heavier duties on oils that can be made in the colony. The removal of duty on candle making machines \yas also asked. 'A delegate friom the local Bootmakers 1 Union said they agreed with the Gh'ripi; . church Union's repre^entatipns with slight modifications. The Tariff Commission goes North tomorrow, visiting the Mataura Paper Jlills on tho way.
